Marbury Organic Soil Improver is manufactured from green waste which has been composted for a minimum 2 years. It is then screened down to 10mm and bagged to give a fine dark brown easy to handle, organic and peat free product, ideal for adding to any garden soils. The perfect environmentally friendly product.
Typically, the garden soil in your new property will be lacking in many desirable qualities needed for good plant growth which is essential for the growing of flowers, fruit and vegetables. This is mainly because of poor soil structure caused by a lack of organic matter within the soil.
If you’re considering laying a lawn then improving the soil before turfing or seeding will pay dividends, greatly helping with the health of the grasses and therefore its appearance.
Organic matter gives the soil structure which helps with aeration, drainage, the promotion of good root growth and healthy plants with excellent yields.
Incorporating Marbury Organic Soil Improver into existing soils binds other soil particles into aggregates that can be penetrated by roots and hold moisture. It is extremely beneficial to all soil types including clay soils and sandy soils. It is also ideal for “No Dig Gardening” which many people are now considering as a “greener” alternative method of growing.
